What will you do in a creative writing workshop?
- Fire the imagination through pictures and objects
- Create oral stories (thinking up the ideas can be hard!)
- Explore mind-maps and story mountains to plan a story
- Improve our favourite descriptions, using colour, material etc
- Borrow others’ great ideas, phrases and word choices to inspire our own work and encourage them
- Look at exciting literary devices like rhetorical questions and personification to make our writing dazzle!
- Build characters that jump off the page…
